In 1985, Dan Belforti graduated with honors from the University of Lowell with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Dan began his career in 1986 with General Electric as a systems engineer for 3 years and then as a financial analyst for 2 years. In 1991, he returned to graduate school via full academic scholarship at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he graduated with honors (3.83 GPA), earning an MBA with a concentration in Finance. In addition, he was the 1993 MBA Class president. Dan joined Merrill Lynch in 1994 as an Investment Management Consultant. After 2 successful years with Merrill Lynch, Dan moved to Tucker Anthony, an independent regional brokerage firm. Dan's client and asset base increased dramatically during the next 3 years at Tucker Anthony as his track record of investment performance continued to build. With high client loyalty and retention, Dan decided the time was right to leave Tucker Anthony to start his own investment management firm, Belforti Investments. Belforti Investments is an independent investment advisory firm owned by Dan Belforti of Portsmouth, NH. Mr. Belforti's firm provides investment advisory services for high net worth individuals (IRAs, IRA Rollovers, Brokerage Accounts) and corporations (401K Plans, Brokerage Accounts). In his spare time, Dan follows NFL football closely. As he boldly predicted in 2003, Dan expects another world championship in 2004 for the dynasty in the making, New England Patriots. Patriots QB Tom Brady, in Dan's opinion, is on track to become the best quarterback in the history of the NFL. The defense should continue to be the best in the NFL (fewest points allowed), and with the addition of RB Corey Dillon, the offense should be even more explosive. |
