If you appreciated the bold honesty and libertarian principles presented by former U.S. Senator Mike Gravel (D) and/or Congressman Ron Paul (R) within the major party Presidential primaries, then you’ll also be attracted to the philosophically sound Dr. Ruwart.  I look forward to another interesting race for the presidential nomination within the Libertarian Party (LP) in Denver in a few weeks.  Other notable candidates include former progressive libertarian Democratic U.S. Senator Gravel, who officially joined the Libertarian Party (as Jerome Holden and I realized long ago), as well as former conservative Republican congressman turned Libertarian Bob Barr . 

These three candidates are distinctly different, but seem to share similar core libertarian beliefs in respect and empowerment of the individual American citizen.  If only we had more people of such intelligence and character presently elected in Washington!

    To discuss the meaning of life….And many other topics….including a vote this week in the New Hampshire State House on HB1623, an act relative to penalties for possesion of marijuana. The bill passed easily in the state house but faces a veto from the governor, who has apparently sold out to the law enforcement community, which receives millions of taxpayer dollars annually to continue the drug war.
